Dr. Stephens recently helped me through a very, very difficult time in my life after I started suffering from major depression - something completely foreign to me. I was able to work with Dr. Stephens to make it through the episode and have now been able to get completely off my meds and am back to "normal". Dr. Stephens is an excellent psychiatrist and has helped me tremendously with my mental health. He is very caring and compassionate. I feel like he really listens and follows up when I need extra time.

I moved to California a couple of years ago, and I looked for a psychiatrist and found Dr. Stephens, listed as one of my insurance providers. First, it is hard to find a good psychiatrist. It really is! He has been a great doctor. He listens to what I have to say about how I'm doing, or if I need something. He always sends my medication to the pharmacy on time. He also cares about my general health and orders labs regularly. We have only had virtual appointments (I don't have to drive anywhere), and they always start on time. I also get reminders about my follow up appointments, which comes in handy, in case I forgot to calendar them. His staff has constantly been improving patient's customer service. So, I feel lucky, and I am very happy I found Dr. Stephens and his staff because they are taking good care of me.
